  9. OK, all you MacApp hackers out there:

  11. I'm designing an application which has a very long linear operation to it.  As
  12. an example of what I describe, consider a computational chemistry program (ie:
  13. Gaussian85) with an interface.  It really isn't that bad, but the model holds.
  14. Anyway, what I want to do is proceed with the long, very linear computation
  15. steps while scanning for events (ie: menu bar events, window updates,
  16. command-period, etc).  I'd like to design the thing in MacApp so it fits into
  17. the program suite I'm developing.

  19. The question is:  What is a neat way to do what I've described.  The general
  20. methods available in MacApp don't seem to readily lend themselves to linear
  21. processes.  I have some ideas of how to do what I want, but want the input of
  22. MacApp fans who have been at this for longer than the couple of weeks I've been
  23. playing with the idea.
