-
- OK, all you MacApp hackers out there:
-
- I'm designing an application which has a very long linear operation to it. As
- an example of what I describe, consider a computational chemistry program (ie:
- Gaussian85) with an interface. It really isn't that bad, but the model holds.
- Anyway, what I want to do is proceed with the long, very linear computation
- steps while scanning for events (ie: menu bar events, window updates,
- command-period, etc). I'd like to design the thing in MacApp so it fits into
- the program suite I'm developing.
-
- The question is: What is a neat way to do what I've described. The general
- methods available in MacApp don't seem to readily lend themselves to linear
- processes. I have some ideas of how to do what I want, but want the input of
- MacApp fans who have been at this for longer than the couple of weeks I've been
- playing with the idea.
-
- Thanx for your input in advance,
